As you know, last week I launched The Wellness Design Podcast with my co-host—the strong, smart and soulful Rhea Mader.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive, like cray cray amazing.
There’s a powerful energy around this podcast I’ve never felt before in my 14-year design career.
It feels like a rocket ship powered by a high-thrust-velocity only seen on ships like the USS Enterprise about to go into hyperdrive space. [Yes, I’m a Trekkie.]
At first I was loving it… and then… something happened.
A tiny thread of fear began to creep in…. mostly at night.
And as the thread unravelled in my mind, the WHAT-IFS began with:
- What if people don’t like the podcast?
- What if people don’t like me?
- What if I sound stupid?
And so on and so forth….
It seemed silly at first.
And then, of course when you’re in it, the waves of “I’m not good enough” can be enough to pull you under a riptide and keep you from ever coming up again.
My big message to you today?
Don’t let fear pull you down so low that you can’t see the forest for the trees.
Don’t let fear cloud your mind with lies so you can’t shine bright and do your work in the world.
And don’t let fear tell you that you don’t deserve a successful wellness business or healthcare practice your patients, clients and staff love.
Get started on creating the wellness space of your dreams.
It all starts with a new coat of paint.
