Yesterday I talked to you about what to do with those uninspiring white tiled ceilings that come with your exam and treatment rooms.
Sometimes there is nothing you can do and that’s okay.
You can work around the ceiling by detracting the eye away from it.
An easy way to achieve this is to paint your walls a soothing color and keep those overhead lights off.
Instead, install a floor and table lamp.
If you can paint those ceiling tiles, then I encourage you to go for it.
If you need to replace the ceiling tiles later when you move out, it is affordable to do so.
So what happens if you don’t want to paint your white tiled ceiling but you want to do something on the ceiling to help your patients and clients enjoy the view while they are on the table receiving a treatment from you?
You can create an image on your ceiling with decorative tiles that when installed come together like a puzzle.
[See above image.]
Now imagine, instead of looking up at your white-tiled ceiling, your patients and clients can look up at a soothing image of nature.
And imagine how your referral rates might increase when your patient is so thrilled with what’s above, they forget about their anxiety below.
To DIY this is more affordable than you might think.
