“I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don’t notice it.”
― Alice Walker, The Color Purple
Dear Ones,The Color Purple is one of my favorite films and one of my favorite colors.

During the time of the Romans, purple was worn by Roman magistrates. It also became the imperial color worn by the rulers of the Byzantine.

Here’s a little fact about the color purple you may not know:

Purple is considered the color of royalty because “for centuries the purple dye trade was centered in the ancient Phoenician city of Tyre in modern day Lebanon. The Phoenicians’ “Tyrian purple” came from a species of sea snail now known as Bolinus brandaris, and it was so exceedingly rare that it became worth its weight in gold.” —History.com

Purple also encompasses the Spiritual energy of the 7th chakra (known as the Crown Chakra at the top of the head) bringing to us our universal connection—all is one.

In Feng Shui design, the color purple and all her sister shades in-between are recommended in the Wealth Area of your wellness or health space.

The Wealth Area—located at the rear left of your space from the perspective of the front door—is where your money energy lives.
